Type of Equipment: Parabolic taper rolls, Eye rollers, Snub taper rolls, Heat treat equipment, Steel shears and punch presses, Furnace hand tongs, Overhead crane, Hoist, Automatic conveyor, Forging press Metal Forming or Shaping machinery:
Experience: Inspecting, Spring Assembly, Cold working, Eye Rolling, Tapering, Painting, Forging, Flattening, Twisting, Forming, Drawing, Boring, Peening, Upsetting, Splitting, Cutting, Punching, Piercing, Bending, or Coining in a production environment.
Specific Skills: Operate leaf spring production machinery, Operate presses or other forging machines to perform hot or cold forging to shape or form metal, Position and adjust dies on anvil of forging machinery. able to trouble shoot and find solutions to production problems, able to identify and implement improvements to the process.
Essential Skills: Reading text & numbers, Document use, Basic math including fractions, Oral communication, Working with others, Problem solving, Critical thinking, Job task planning and organizing, Computer use, Willingness to learn continuously.
